Kate holloway| MK4 R32 Golf Turbocharged

Rebuilding my Mk4 Golf R32 has been one of the most rewarding projects I’ve taken on — especially being a dream car that I’ve built with my step-dad. I acquired the car back in May 2025 as a project, due to it having been left for 5 years by the previous owner.

From the start, the aim was to keep things OEM+ while adding something extra. We focused on recommissioning the car properly before moving on to the turbo conversion, transforming the R32 into a 400bhp build without losing the factory look and feel that made me fall in love with the MK4 in the first place.

The car is now fitted with a Pulsar 35/76 turbo paired with a Tial wastegate and RamAir induction system. Fueling is controlled by a Sytech system supported by Greengiant injectors, with an upgraded alloy radiator. The OEM R32 wheels retain the period-correct (which I love) look but gain improved fitment thanks to coilovers and spacers.
